The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slaughter avoids the body shot from Shinnie.
Slaughter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Slaughter takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Slaughter throws a right and a left that Shinnie avoids nicely.
Slaughter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Slaughter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shinnie is fending him off so far but Slaughter persists. Nope, Shinnie circles away and we're back to standing.
Slaughter lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Shinnie lands a nice hook to Slaughter's body. Slaughter takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Slaughter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shinnie moves away.
It seemed like Shinnie was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Shinnie defending well as Slaughter loads up on a big left hand.
Slaughter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Shinnie drops Slaughter with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Slaughter looks back up at him and smiles so Shinnie waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Slaughter is rocked!
Slaughter walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Shinnie swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Turner's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Carver is holding on here and Turner must be using up a lot of energy. Carver has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Turner gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
