Nutz is nestled in close to Cordoba, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nutz drops back looking for a leg! Cordoba is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cordoba manages to kick Nutz off! Nutz jumps back into Cordoba's guard.

Cordoba has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nutz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Nutz stalks Cordoba and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cordoba's face. Cordoba staggers backwards, shaken.

Oscar Perez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chivitchian throws a pinpoint strike between Kortees's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Kortees crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Chivitchian scores a great knockout victory!
