Undercard bout

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juho Koski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deon Carruthers Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juho Koski had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Deon Carruthers Jr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes loads up on a big right hand but Tumenov slips the punch.
Tumenov appears to be looking for a big counter.

Tumenov clinches up with Hughes and pushes him back against the cage.

Our sources have told us that Tumenov has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Hughes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tumenov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hughes swings wildly with an uppercut but Tumenov uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hughes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tumenov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hughes scores with a big shot! Tumenov's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Tumenov! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Chalke lands a really nice looking cross but Klim seems unphased.

Klim tries to bum rush Chalke with a series of wild strikes but Chalke uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Oh Klim is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Klim walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Chalke throws a body punch but Klim moves out of range.
Chalke closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Klim! Chalke dives in looking to finish! Klim is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
