Sullivan defending well as Kedorf loads up on a big left hand.

Sullivan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Astalo thuds his right hand into Benson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Astalo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Astalo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Astalo lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Benson can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Astalo and Benson drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Astalo.

Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from John.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lee has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Brandon Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
John closes the distance looking to clinch
and Lee makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee dances in with a quick combination. John is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Lee snaps John's head back. John stumbles backwards against the cage. Lee steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with John's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. John just didn't come prepared.

A less than humble Brandon Lee misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Booger has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rusted is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Booger.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
