Palonesess shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Palonesess showed some decent athleticism there.
Foliang regains full guard. Nicely done.

Foliang has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Palonesess should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Foliang has tightened it up now! Palonesess should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apache throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Horrible takedown attempt by Apache or perhaps it was just good defense by Xeno, which made it look bad.
Xeno has his takedown stuffed
and Apache counters with a three punch combo that has Xeno backing up. Xeno nods at Apache to acknowledge the strikes.
Apache misses with a kick to the body
and Xeno counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Apache misses with a takedown attempt - Xeno sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Apache throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Xeno's waist but Xeno gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Apache off to one side.

Xeno has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Xeno tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Apache manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Chase Xeno is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
