The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Maximus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Packalen defends it nicely.
Maximus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Packalen avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Maximus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Packalen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
