Tromp tries to keep at a distance but Isac has taken the fight into the clinch.
Isac looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Tromp pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tromp lands with a nice combination. Isac backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Malik Isac has been cut.
Isac is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Tromp moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Poirier lands a really nice looking cross but Allen seems unphased.
Allen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Allen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Allen looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Poirier with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Allen to score with a decent uppercut.
Allen looks to land a right hand but Poirier moved out of range.
Poirier tries to land a front kick but Allen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Allen's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Poirier is holding on here and Allen must be using up a lot of energy. Poirier has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Allen gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
