Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Moonra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes into the arena with all of the lights blaring out of the sound system. Moonra has chosen Boombastic as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moonra throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Thomas!
Thomas jabs Moonra right on the nose. Moonra blinks but takes it well.
Moonra throws a lazy right hand but Thomas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Moonra wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Moonra throws a body shot but no joy.
Moonra wants to clinch up but Thomas keeps it at a distance.
Thomas changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Moonra can't hide his disappointment, as Thomas celebrates the victory.

Ninja's entrance music is Super Bon Bon - Soul Coughing. A fine choice. Polo has chosen On The Floor as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ninja has a takedown stuffed.
Ninja wants to clinch up but Polo keeps it at a distance.

Ninja escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Polo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ninja goes for a double leg but Polo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Polo continues to drive forward.

Ninja shoots in looking for a takedown. Polo tries to sprawl out of it but Ninja keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Polo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dall is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Taggart has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Dall has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Taggart taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Dall doesn't care though - he's delighted!
