Boromir lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Boromir waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Mars. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Mars to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boromir stands and throws Mars's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mars is still in real trouble! Can Boromir finish him?

Boromir works to advance to full mount. Mars defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Mars wants to hold on but Boromir pushes him away.
Mars seems to have recovered his senses.

Boromir tries to land a front kick but Mars steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Vincent Mars's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

You can see the frustration on Mars's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Boromir is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mars's shoulder. That is not cool.
Mars tries to bench press Boromir off him but Boromir keeps the position.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mars is trying to get back to half guard.
Boromir wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mars keeps working.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boromir misses with an uppercut.
Boromir throws a jab when Mars was well out of range.
Boromir moves forwards but Mars connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Mars pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boromir will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Boromir on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vincent Mars's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
