Nice takedown defense from Escorber. No joy for Lyon on that attempt.
Lyon darts in trying to clinch

Lyon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lyon is rocked!
Escorber gets to his feet and stands over Lyon, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Lyon felt that one! Escorber unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Lyon from any more punishment!

In his post fight interview, Pablo Escorber gave a big smile as he said 'This fight was a trouble to me cause Mat lyon is a MT fighter and am a wrestling fighter, so it was hard for me to win this much. i thank my couch and my fans, thank you for your support!!!!'.

Halery really is a fat lump.

Sanchez tries to bum rush Halery with a series of wild strikes but Halery uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Halery has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Halery fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sanchez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Halery backs up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanchez grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Halery takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Sanchez cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
