The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis connects with a leg kick. Graciani looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Graciani misses with a takedown attempt
and Davis counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Nice takedown defense from Davis. No joy for Graciani on that attempt.
Graciani on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Davis throws a leg kick which misses Graciani's front leg but catches the back leg as Graciani tries to avoid it.

Graciani is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Davis is just riding it out for now. Graciani eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Graciani wants to take a breather but Davis is having none of it.

Graciani is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Davis still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Davis has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
