The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tupper instigates a clinch.
Tupper pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Blake keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tupper's efforts to push away.

Blake is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tupper is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Cronos goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sorias rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Cronos's guard! Nice work there by Sorias!

Cronos has his foot on Sorias's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sorias works his way back into a safe position though.

Cronos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sorias tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Cronos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That was a close round but I would say that Jose Cronos will probably get the nod.
That's time! Cronos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Sorias tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cronos paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cronos crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sorias - the referee stops the clock and Cronos gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sorias. Cronos manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Sorias scores with a sloppy right hand. Cronos should have avoided that one.

It looks like Cronos has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Johnny Cash - Hurt. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Urai lands a right hook to the body.
Urai checks a leg kick.
Urai takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Urai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rockin.
Rockin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at MM eh Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Robbie Rockin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Urai uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rockin.
Urai lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Urai throws a half hearted mid kick.

Rockin throws a low kick but Urai moves out of range easily.
Urai thinks about the counter body kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Rockin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Urai misses with a series of wild punches.

Rockin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rockin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Urai flicks out a counter leg kick but Rockin steps away.
Urai pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Urai rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rockin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rockin tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rockin looks to land a body kick but Urai moved away.
Rockin throws a head kick that misses.
Rockin is looking to score with low kicks.
Rockin scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Urai uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rockin.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looked like Rockin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Rockin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Urai's calf.
Urai throws a push kick but Rockin slaps the foot to one side.

Urai tries a quick counter leg kick but Rockin is wise to it.
Urai throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Robbie Rockin has been cut.
Rockin wants to slow Urai down by chopping away at his legs.
Urai replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Rockin blocks it well.
Urai throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rockin.

A slow jab from Urai misses its intended target.
Urai takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Urai lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rockin throws a leg kick

Urai tries a head kick but it misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Rockin misses the target.
Oh Rockin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rockin drops his hands momentarily. Urai doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Rockin staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Rockin doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

After winning the bout, Sam Urai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
