The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Perkele swivels and escapes.
Perkele connects with a good right hand that stumbles Zaki. Zaki circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Decent striking displayed by Perkele there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Perkele, as that shot connected.
Perkele connects with a jab.
Perkele scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zaki doesn't seem bothered though.
Zaki fails with a takedown attempt.
Zaki shoots in looking for a takedown. Perkele tries to sprawl out of it but Zaki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Perkele manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
