The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joe shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Eastwood's guard.

Joe is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Joe wants to control from the top but Eastwood keeps moving.
Joe passes Eastwood's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Eastwood looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Joe is thwarting Eastwood's attempts to control the position.

Joe is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Eastwood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Routh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Madrox walks away with a smile on his face. Routh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
