The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Silva changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Johnson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Johnson tries to bench press Silva off him but Silva keeps the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Johnson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Silva but great work by Johnson.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Welcher manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Butt shoots for a takedown but Trucks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Butt fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Butt.

Trucks cracks Butt with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Trucks has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Butt to stand back up!

It looks like Fanny Butt has been cut.

Trucks drops Butt with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Butt looks back up at him and smiles so Trucks waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Butt is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Trucks flashes Butt a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Butt's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Butt crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Trucks punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
