And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oleg Kareshnikov!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wyatt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kareshnikov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Wyatt shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wyatt showed some decent athleticism there.

Wyatt gets to his feet. Kareshnikov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Kareshnikov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wyatt quickly recovers to half guard.

Wyatt wants to sweep here but Kareshnikov controlling him for the moment.

Kareshnikov has Wyatt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wyatt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kareshnikov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kareshnikov manages to end up in side control.

Wyatt wants to get back to his feet but Kareshnikov is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Wyatt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lonny Wyatt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wyatt shoots in looking for a takedown but Kareshnikov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wyatt's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kareshnikov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Wyatt thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Wyatt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kareshnikov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wyatt has Kareshnikov in his guard.

Kareshnikov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

I would just about give that final round to Oleg Kareshnikov.
