Tyler Bate was interviewed post fight and said 'You win or you learn, this will only allow me to propel myself further forward as a fighter. There isn't a great in the sport without a record on their loss. I'll be back and better than ever before and this will not prevent me from my goal of being a three weight world champ.'.
