Cross has chosen Adrenaline as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels wants to clinch up but Cross keeps it at a distance.
Daniels doesn't manage to clinch there - Cross circles away.
Daniels on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cross. Cross obviously looking to wear him down.
Cross lands with a thumping leg kick.
Cross throws a nice outside leg kick.

Cross closes the distance and pushes Daniels back into the cage.

Cross breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Daniels tries to clinch but Cross moves away
and Cross counters with a solid body kick.
Daniels is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cross pushes Daniels up against the cage in a clinch.

Cross breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jack Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cross throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Daniels's head.
Daniels chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cross can pounce on him.

Cross looks to land a combination. Daniels sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Cross has closed the distance and engaged Daniels in a clinch.

Cross manages to break the clinch.
Cross moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Cross rushes Daniels and presses him up against the cage.

Cross breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Beast lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Beast has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Beast and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well Beast has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
