Finess manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Finess is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khali trying to control but Finess is working from the bottom.

Finess is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Finess winds up and cracks Khali with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Still in half guard, Finess seems content to control.
Finess landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Khali avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Finess.
Finess thows a huge punch but Khali dodges it nicely.
Finess passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Khali!

Finess looking to secure an arm triangle but Khali defends it well.
Finess looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Finess cracks Khali with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Finess lands a big shot there that rocks Khali but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Finess throwing strikes here but Khali is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Finess tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Finess trying to control but Khali is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Finess looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Finess throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Finess wants to control the pace but Khali is squirming around nicely.

Finess jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Khali is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Khali and Finess has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Finess can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Khali is looking to escape.

Finess goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Khali turns into him and now he's in Finess's guard.

Finess seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Finess has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Khali clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Finess looking to break Khali's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Khali remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Finess will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
