The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakotonandrasana throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rakotonandrasana throws a series of punches but Abbadon avoids them all with ease.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rakotonandrasana. Abbadon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Abbadon tries to land a leg kick but Rakotonandrasana saw it coming and moves away.
Abbadon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Abbadon lands a left and a right that send Rakotonandrasana crashing to the mat, dazed. Abbadon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Alexein Rakotonandrasana has been cut.
Abbadon looks to score with a jab to the body but Rakotonandrasana is just out of range.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rakotonandrasana has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Abbadon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rakotonandrasana moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
