The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thrower shoots in for a takedown but Anderson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Anderson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Thrower defends it well.
Thrower lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Thrower.

It looks like Jon Anderson has been cut.

Thrower has closed the distance and engaged Anderson in a clinch.
