The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Ryan as Dong shoots in.
Dong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ryan but Ryan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dong tries to close the distance and clinch but Ryan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ryan.
Horrible takedown attempt by Dong or perhaps it was just good defense by Ryan, which made it look bad.
And Ryan tries to counter it with a takedown but Dong pushes his down on his head and steps out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ryan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Richard Kuklinski decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
The defeated Samoa Joe had this to say: 'Someone shot me in the middle of the fight, it is the only thing that makes sense. Braun Strowman is the future of this division and all of you will see this soon.'.
