Lupus takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Lupus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hanma can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lupus is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hanma looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lupus gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hanma is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lupus lets go of the hold and Hanma can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Cruise got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cruise has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted.

Mir really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save dos Nikkos from any more punishment! dos Nikkos complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunz leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bunz's waist but Bunz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.
Johnson lands a nice shot to the body.
Bunz throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Bunz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Johnson takes a swing at Bunz's ribcage but misses.
