Squarepants has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cambridge avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Squarepants is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cambridge doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Squarepants.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cambridge can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cambridge is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cambridge might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Squarepants haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That was a close second round but I would say that Squidward Squarepants will probably get the nod.

Eddie Lainey struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Mc Steel throws a looping overhand right but Basurto ducks down to avoid it.

It looks like Lucas Basurto has been cut.
Basurto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mc Steel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Basurto somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mc Steel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mc Steel connects with a combination that backs up Basurto into the cage. Mc Steel lands a flurry of punches that gets past Basurto's guard. Basurto is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Mc Steel bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
