Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
A jab from Embolo does it's job there.
Embolo throws out a powerful jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aguirre steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Embolo.
Embolo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

and Embolo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Aguirre thinking.
Embolo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Aguirre gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Embolo gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

In his post fight interview, Yoel Embolo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

and Persley counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Knight takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Demetrius Persley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Green Knight.
Persley changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Knight tries to score a power double leg takedown but Persley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Knight somewhat.

The fighters circle momentarily. Persley darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Persley feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Knights jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Persley throws a monster overhand right that drops Knight! Persley follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
