The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antouro throws a sloppy head kick and Ray moves out of range easily.
Antouro pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Ray rushes Antouro and presses him up against the cage.

Antouro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ray shoots for a takedown but Antouro saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ray throws a right hand that Antouro ducks under and follows up with a left that Antouro also avoids with ease.
Nice shot lands for Antouro.

Ray gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ray is looking to take this one to the mat.

Antouro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Whack! Antouro lands a heavy head kick that drops Ray. The ref tackles Antouro to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ray was done.

Winner drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ciocoi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Winner throws a nice looking combination but Ciocoi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Winner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Winner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ciocoi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Winner throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Ciocoi's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Winner dives in looking to finish as Ciocoi flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Winner's strikes! Winner is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Ciocoi's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Ciocoi was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Qfc Winner!
After winning the bout, Qfc Winner thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davos Seaworth (ranked 6253 p4p, 724 weight class) and Wesley Whitaker (ranked 4890 p4p, 625 weight class). Seaworth kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Oakhelm - Of Wood and Blood. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The crowd cheers as Jodson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tessier doesn't seem phased though.
Tessier looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Jodson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jodson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jodson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Tessier uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jodson.
Jodson throws a body shot but no joy.
Tessier swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

A nice side step and Tessier releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Steve ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rydell moves away.

Rydell has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rydell there as he acknowledges the shot.
