The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Paddy has time to react.
Paddy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Paddy throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Paddy throws a sloppy head kick and Ortiz moves out of range easily.
Despite the aggression on Ortiz's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Ortiz throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

As Paddy backs off Ortiz throws a huge counter combo but Paddy manages to avoid it all.
Paddy misses the shot to the body.
Ortiz lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Ortiz drops Paddy with a beautiful combination! Paddy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ortiz is looking for the KO!

Ortiz closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Paddy! Ortiz dives in looking to finish! Paddy is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimi Kuala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimi Kuala had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!
