Italo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McDonald is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

McDonald jumps guard and drags Italo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
McDonald has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Italo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Italo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McDonald has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Italo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, McDonald has tightened it up now! Italo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

De Negri drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

De Negri throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
De Negri postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
You can see the frustration on Redcliffe's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

De Negri has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

De Negri has hold of Redcliffe's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Redcliffe seems comfortable defending it but De Negri has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Redcliffe is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Redcliffe is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but De Negri couldn't care less - he's delighted!
