Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hurl Gragas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Clinton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Gragas tries to buck Clinton off but Clinton is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gragas tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Road throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A little jabbing left from Nut on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Road tries to move into range but Nut moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Road's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nut connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Road scrambles back to his feet.
Nut falls off balance throwing a combination

and Road counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Road successfully pulls guard.

Nut stands and steps away. Road gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Road throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nut was covering up waiting for the punch and Road finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Road stands up from Nut's guard - Road perhaps looking for a knockout.

Nut misses with a few strikes there.
Nut scores with a jab to the jaw.
Coco Nut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nut throws a right hand that Road ducks under and follows up with a left that Road also avoids with ease.
Road tries to counter with a takedown but Nut is quick to defend against it.

Road is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Nut looks calm but he's in trouble here. Road gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Nut is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Road lets go of the hold and Nut can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Johnson dives in and scores a takedown into North's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Johnson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Johnson scoring with some ground and pound.

North escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

North working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Johnson connects with a couple of short punches.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
North is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

North is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Johnson is just riding it out for now. North eventually gives up the hold.

North wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.

North wants to take a breather but Johnson is having none of it.

Johnson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but North pulls his head out easily.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
North wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
North is doing well to control the position and prevent Johnson from advancing to side control.

Johnson is trying to improve position by moving to mount. North has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Johnson is in a lot of trouble! North is straining to finish and he's done it! Johnson taps out! Amazing!

Sand jumps guard but Caesar stands there with Sand around his waist. Sand gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Caesar's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Caesar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Caesar cracks Sand with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
