The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Black lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hunter backs up against the cage.
A combination from Black does no damage.
Hunter goes for a double leg but Black avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Black continues to drive forward.
Black pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hunter back to the cage. Black follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Black is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hunter is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Black to the mat. Black regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Paredes scores with a nice right hand.
Paredes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Paredes has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jablowme is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Paredes cracks Jablowme with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Paredes uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jablowme has time to react.
Jablowme motions for Paredes to come forward. Jablowme throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Paredes throws out a counter right but Jablowme avoids it with no problem.
Jablowme shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Paredes counters with a nice body shot.
Jablowme tries to clinch
and Paredes counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Paredes jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Paredes clobbers Jablowme with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Jablowme is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jablowme walks straight into a right hand from Paredes - that's dropped him! Paredes jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jablowme from any more punishment! Jablowme complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Thybault Paredes!
A relieved looking Thybault Paredes thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Haywood Jablowme spoke after the fight, saying 'He was a very good fighter and outperformed me I hope to see him again '.
