Elder bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Elder pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Poller back to the cage. Elder follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
A decent looking cross lands there for Elder.
Poller moves forwards but Elder connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Poller is rocked!
Elder connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Poller! He's out on his feet! Elder rushes in and drops Poller with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Hitta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vieira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hitta tries to buck Vieira off but Vieira is having none of it.

Vieira has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vieira gets to mount! Hitta was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Vieira softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Hitta is out cold! Vieira jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Schwab throws a lazy uppercut
and Kirazawa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Schwab fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kirazawa manages to avoid it.
Kirazawa was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Schwab lands a left and a right that send Kirazawa crashing to the mat, dazed. Schwab thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kirazawa is rocked!

It looks like Kiryu Kirazawa has been cut.
Schwab misses with a straight right.
A little feinted left hand from Kirazawa on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Oh Kirazawa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kirazawa leaves his chin hanging out and Schwab seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kirazawa crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

The Blitz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McHough's guard.
The Blitz passes McHough's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
McHough is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McHough can do anything to dispel that myth.
McHough is not content to let The Blitz control the position.
McHough felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The Blitz is looking for a kimura but McHough is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for The Blitz to get the leverage.
The Blitz wants to take a breather but McHough is having none of it.

The Blitz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McHough sees it coming and defends easily.
The Blitz works his foot free and advances to mount.

The Blitz wants to finish this one by submission but McHough is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from The Blitz.

The Blitz is going oldschool here, as he tries to force McHough to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so McHough shrugs it off.

In his post fight interview, Jose The Blitz started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Plomeros is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ievan Polkka. Leifi Plomeros told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one!
