The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souness feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Souness accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Souness drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Souness jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

He's out cold! Dimasuay gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Nelson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bee was covering up waiting for the punch and Nelson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nelson is one step ahead there.
Nelson trying to control the position from guard on top but Bee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bee wants to stand and escape but Nelson is having none of it.
Bee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nelson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
