Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ban Edsel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Micah Frank!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frank drives through with a takedown into guard.
Frank trying to control the position from guard on top but Edsel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Edsel tries to strike from the bottom.
Frank working some strikes from top position.
Edsel throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Edsel looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Edsel striking off his back.
Edsel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Frank on the ground.
Edsel striking off his back but it's not causing Frank any problems.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Frank thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Frank scoring with some ground and pound.
Edsel throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Frank wants to control from the top but Edsel keeps moving.
Frank slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Edsel.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frank is looking to take a break and control but Edsel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Frank is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Edsel is just riding it out for now. Frank eventually gives up the hold.
Edsel tries to get to full guard but Frank has control of the leg.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Frank looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Edsel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Frank lands strikes from half guard.
Edsel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Edsel tries to get out of the position.
Frank is nestled in close to Edsel, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Frank is trying for a kimura here. Edsel looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Frank wins by kimura!

With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, LaDavian Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yukimura Gomi!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank throws a nice inside leg kick.
A clash of legs there as Frank blocks the low kick.
Frank tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gomi was well out of range. Poor timing from Frank.
Gomi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gomi tried to score with a low kick but Frank checks it.

Gomi drives through and clinches with Frank against the ropes.
Gomi is trying to break the clinch but Frank has him pressed against the ropes.
Frank avoids a wild elbow strike from Gomi.
Frank keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gomi's efforts to push away.
Frank working some nice short punches in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gomi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Frank pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circling - Frank throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gomi moves out of range of the body kick.
Gomi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gomi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Frank. Frank obviously looking to wear him down.
Frank scores with a hook.
Gomi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Frank can pounce on him.
Frank's corner calls for a 1-2. Frank obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Gomi throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Frank counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Frank connects with a nice looking jab.
Gomi looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Gomi tries to land a front kick but Frank steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Frank avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Frank dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gomi. That did some damage!
Frank fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gomi is out of range.
Gomi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Frank counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Frank scores with a punch to the head.
Gomi needs to keep his hands up - Frank had a free shot at his head there.
Gomi tries to clinch but Frank is having none of it.
A jab lands there for Frank.
Frank avoids the head kick by Gomi.
Frank swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Frank scores with a decent looking hook.

Gomi is rocked!
Frank darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Gomi's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Frank before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). LaDavian Frank!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ingle takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Phillips lands a big right hand that sends Ingle crashing to the mat! Phillips stays standing though and waves Ingle back to his feet!

Ingle is rocked!

It looks like Joseph Ingle has been cut.
Phillips throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ingle is still on wobbly legs! Can Phillips finish him?
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ingle has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ingle walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Phillips swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mark Phillips!
Mark Phillips decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Adermundie comes to the ring accompanied by Peak Times by Switch. Strawberry has chosen Brass Monkey as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adermundie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Strawberry paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Strawberry throws a lazy right hand but Adermundie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Adermundie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Adermundie throws a sloppy head kick and Strawberry moves out of range easily.
Strawberry stalks Adermundie and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Adermundie's face. Adermundie staggers backwards, shaken.
Strawberry showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Adermundie.
Adermundie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Strawberry stuns Adermundie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Strawberry connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Strawberry throws a nice looking combination but Adermundie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Strawberry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Adermundie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Strawberry will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Strawberry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adermundie moves away.
Adermundie seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Strawberry swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Adermundie counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Strawberry misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
DJ Strawberry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adermundie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Strawberry.
Adermundie is looking to counter the offense by Strawberry and move into the clinch.
Strawberry rushes Adermundie with punches - Adermundie moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Adermundie goes down! Strawberry follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). DJ Strawberry!
Post fight, DJ Strawberry took to the microphone: 'Thx to god and all my fans, family and supporters in general. Whether I win or lose, i'm still a bad motherfucker'.
