Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pop Jonesy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biff Hemlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hemlock has chosen Champagneros as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Dale has chosen Try A Little Tenderness as his entrance music. Philip Dale told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dale clobbers Hogin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dale will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hogin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dale swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hogin.
Hogin misses with a double jab
and Dale counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A lazy left from Dale finds it's target.
Dale buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hogin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dale circles away quickly and effectively.
Dale slips a jab and a cross from Hogin.
Nice straight punches there by Hogin. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hogin.
Hogin misses with a combination
and Dale counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dale throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hogin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hogin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hogin throws a jab but it's blocked by Dale.

Dale throws a leg kick but Hogin sees it coming and moves out of range.
Hogin misses with a hook. Dale ducked under it nicely.
Dale looks to land a combination but Hogin avoids it well.
Hogin throws a right and a left that Dale avoids nicely.
Dale misses with a straight left.
Dale cracks Hogin with a good jab.
Dale misses with a straight right.
The fighters circling - Hogin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dale throws the left hand but Hogin avoids the punch easily.

Philip Dale is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dale dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dale throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hogin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hogin falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Dale to counter with a crisp jab.
Dale ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Hogin out cold! The fight is over!
