The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jam moves out of range as Dante strikes.
Jam keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dante.
Jam swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Dante rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jam connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dante loads up on a big right hand but Jam slips the punch.
Jam has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dante looks to throw the jab but Jam is out of range.
A little jabbing left from Jam on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jam throws a body punch but Dante moves out of range.
Jam lands with an overhand left.
Dante connects with a single shot there.
Dante misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jam.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dante throws an off balance right hand
and Jam counters with a huge left! Dante is in big trouble! He's backing up but Jam isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Dante from any more damage. A dominating finish by Jam!

Ando ducks under a wild hook from Penn.
Ando is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Penn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Penn wants it to stay on the feet.
Penn throws a big shot that misses.
Ando tries to counter with a takedown but Penn is quick to defend against it.

Ando gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Penn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Penn has momentary wrist control but Ando slips an elbow through the middle.

Penn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ando doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Penn is tightening it up a little... Ando has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ando reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ando taps out! Nice BJJ there by Penn!
