The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poppageorgio looks to land a left hand but Greening moved out of range nicely.
Poppageorgio takes a swing at Greening's ribcage but misses.

Greening swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Greening drives through and clinches with Poppageorgio against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Greening - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Greening tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Poppageorgio scores with a shoulder strike.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Silva scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Silva swings wildly with an uppercut but Maja uses good head movement to avoid it.
Maja jumps guard but Silva turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Silva has eaten all the pies!
Silva can't find room to land a body shot as Maja controls the action.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Silva.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wolfie feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tuffenufes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Wolfie rushes Tuffenufe and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Tuffenufe is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wolfie gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Tuffenufe has clasped his hands together around Wolfie's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Wolfie tries to escape but Tuffenufe is in control.

Tuffenufe tries for a kimura but Wolfie is defending well.

Tuffenufe is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wolfie has escaped the position, nice work there.
Wolfie seems a little lost for a moment, as Tuffenufe dominates the positioning.
It looks like Tuffenufe might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Tuffenufe swings around for an armbar but Wolfie sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tuffenufe's guard.
Tuffenufe is striking but Wolfie is not phased and passes to half guard.

Tuffenufe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wolfie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tuffenufe has his foot on Wolfie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wolfie works his way back into a safe position though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tuffenufe can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tuffenufe seems keen to control Wolfie's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tuffenufe looking for a guillotine here but Wolfie defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wolfie is fighting to break Tuffenufe's control of his arms but Tuffenufe is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Wolfie tries to stand but Tuffenufe is controlling from the bottom.

Tuffenufe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wolfie defends well.

Wolfie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tuffenufe has his feet on Wolfie's thighs here. He's pushed Wolfie off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Wolfie screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Disa Pervart tries to clinch up but Hatsumi pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Disa Pervart to the mat! Disa Pervart covers up and Hatsumi unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A relieved looking Masaaki Hatsumi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
