That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sendo Yaomada.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hajek misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Smolar lands a left and a right that send Hajek crashing to the mat, dazed. Smolar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Smolar ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Hajek's jaw. Hajek's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Smolar does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Reodfsenior Castro!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wuzz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wuzz fails to land the takedown.

Wuzz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Wuzz shoots for a double leg takedown but Castro sprawls well. He's pushed Wuzz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Wuzz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wuzz takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wuzz slips a jab and a cross from Castro.

Castro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wuzz has Castro pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wuzz pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Castro tumbling to the mat - Wuzz dives into Castro's guard.

Castro is looking for a triangle but Wuzz pushes his legs off easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wuzz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wuzz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Castro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wuzz has managed to get both his arms back between Castro's legs - danger averted.

Castro tries to break free but Wuzz pushes him back against the cage.
Castro wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Castro is trying to break the clinch but Wuzz has him pressed against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Castro.
Wuzz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Castro avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Wuzz.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wuzz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Castro prevents it.
Wuzz is breathing heavily.
Wuzz goes for a takedown attempt but Castro pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Wuzz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Castro walks away with a smile on his face. Wuzz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wuzz misses with a kick to the body.

Castro pushes Wuzz up against the cage in a clinch.
A hook to the body from Castro.
Wuzz fails to pull guard.
Wuzz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Castro just stands there and leans against the cage.

Castro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wuzz shoots and misses
and Castro counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Wuzz is rocked!

Wuzz tries to keep at a distance but Castro has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wuzz is trying to drag Castro to the mat but Castro just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Castro breaks the clinch.
Castro connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Wuzz tumbling to the canvas! Castro pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Wuzz was done - good stoppage!
