The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potku fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Grimdal.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Potku, right into the meat.
Potku digs a good body shot into Grimdal's ribs.
Potku lands with a kick to the ribs.

Potku feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Grimdal sprawling to the canvas! Grimdal rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Potku finish him?!

It looks like Reggie Grimdal has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Grimdal closes the distance and clinches.
Potku lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Liao throws a head kick that misses

and Dayley counters with a nice double leg into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dayley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dayley throws an elbow that misses. Liao uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dayley's guard. Nice move by Liao!

Liao wants to control from the top but Dayley keeps moving.
Liao stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dayley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Liao prevents Dayley from getting back to his feet.
Dayley seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Liao must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
