Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Uri Gellar (ranked 28 p4p, 0 weight class) and Git Push (ranked 353 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Uri Gellar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Git Push!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gellar tests Push's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gellar throws a leg kick but Push moved away.
Push takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Push uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gellar.
Gellar connects with a leg kick. Push looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gellar tries to clinch up but Push circles away and keeps his distance.
Push feints the counter takedown.
Gellar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Push.
Push drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Gellar defends it well.

Push throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gellar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Push is in Gellar's guard.
Push is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Push wants to control from the top but Gellar keeps moving.
Push wants to pass the guard but Gellar is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Push forces his way into half guard.

Push is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Push seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gellar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gellar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gellar tries to get out of the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Push moves nicely into side control.
Push tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Push wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gellar, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Push tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Push controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Git Push dominated that round.
That's time! Gellar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Gellar leaves Push with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Push is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Push displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gellar throws out the jab.
Push looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gellar is fending him off so far but Push persists. Nope, Gellar circles away and we're back to standing.

Push tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Push has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Git Push showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
