The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curry scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Curry tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Curry.

Curry closes the distance and clinches.

Curry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones throws a body shot but no joy.
Curry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Curry misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.

It looked like Jones was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Curry.
Jet Curry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Reagent shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lodbrock as he avoids it easily.
Lodbrock tries to counter with a clinch but Reagent shakes him off and moves away.
Lodbrock misses with a two punch combination.
Reagent throws the left hand but Lodbrock avoids the punch easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lodbrock! But no joy.
Reagent throws an overhand right that lands on Lodbrock's shoulder, as Lodbrock tries to avoid the shot.

Reagent shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lodbrock manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Ivar Lodbrock's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
