Melamies cracks Modesto with a good jab.
Melamies throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Modesto goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Modesto sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyfriend takes a swing at Dio's ribcage but misses.
Boyfriend rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boyfriend slips a jab and a cross from Dio.
Dio swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
As Dio looks to move away, Boyfriend throws a big counter combo but Dio just gets out of the way.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Boyfriend!
Dio stalks Boyfriend and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Boyfriend's face. Boyfriend staggers backwards, shaken.
Nice uppercut there from Boyfriend.
Dio has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A punch lands to the side of Dio 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Santos avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Gozu loads up on a big right hand but Santos slips the punch.

Santos tries to counter with a takedown but Gozu is quick to defend against it.
Santos scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gozu doesn't seem bothered though.
Gozu connects with a good right hand that stumbles Santos. Santos circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
