The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flannery changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hari tries to avoid it but Flannery manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hari to the ground. Hari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hari thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Flannery if he has to take too many more of those.

It looks like Desmond Flannery has been cut.

Hari jerks Flannery's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Flannery drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Hari goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Hari because Flannery was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Hanma throws a hook to the side of Schmidt's head but Schmidt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Schmidt.

It looked like Hanma wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
