The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trudo rushes Savage and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Trudo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Trudo swings wildly with an uppercut but Savage uses good head movement to avoid it.
Savage wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Trudo has him pressed against the cage.
Savage blocks an uppercut.
Trudo misses with a punch on the inside.
Trudo tries to break free but Savage pushes him back against the cage.
Savage is looking to break free of the clinch but Trudo has double underhooks.
Savage blocks a punch to the side of the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Savage wants to break the clinch but can't.

Trudo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

As Trudo looks to move away, Savage throws a big counter combo but Trudo just gets out of the way.

Trudo lands a left and a right that send Savage crashing to the mat, dazed. Trudo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Savage is rocked!

It looks like Randy Savage has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Trudo dances in with a quick combination. Savage is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Trudo snaps Savage's head back. Savage stumbles backwards against the cage. Trudo steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Savage's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Savage just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Micky Trudo!
Randy Savage was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm talking about all the way to the top, yeah. I'm justifiably in a position that I'd rather not be in. But the cream will rise to the top, ooh yeah. Macho Madness!'.

Polyanskiy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Polyanskiy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Polyanskiy is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lewis is trying to escape and Polyanskiy transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lewis is forced to tap! Nice work there by Polyanskiy! Very nice indeed!
