We've been hearing good reports from Burns's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Burns passes Goncalves's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Goncalves looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Burns is looking to stall here but Goncalves recovers full guard.

Goncalves is looking to cinch up a triangle. Burns throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Goncalves's body to avoid the submission. Goncalves has instead reached around Burns's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Goncalves arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wild Turkey (ranked 2041 p4p, 231 weight class) and Ike Ibeabuchi (ranked 1985 p4p, 220 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ike Ibeabuchi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ike Ibeabuchi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turkey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ibeabuchi scores with a nice right hand.
Ibeabuchi with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ibeabuchi slips under a jab from Turkey .
Turkey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ibeabuchi.
Ibeabuchi needs to keep his hands up - Turkey had a free shot at his head there.
Ibeabuchi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Turkey feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ibeabuchis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Turkey throws a hook to the side of Ibeabuchi's head but Ibeabuchi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ibeabuchi doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Turkey takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ibeabuchi swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Turkey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A combination from Turkey does no damage.
Turkey swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Ibeabuchi looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Turkey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ibeabuchi! But no joy.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turkey misses with a lunging right hand
and Ibeabuchi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Turkey thinking.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ibeabuchi sizes up Turkey with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Wild Turkey has been cut.
Ibeabuchi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Turkey throws a body punch but Ibeabuchi moves out of range.
Turkey throws a poor cross that misses
and Ibeabuchi counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Turkey is breathing heavily.
Turkey feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ibeabuchi's calf.
Ibeabuchi pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Turkey swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Turkey misses with a hook
and Ibeabuchi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Ibeabuchi cracks Turkey with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Turkey looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ibeabuchi finish him?

Turkey is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ibeabuchi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Oh Turkey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Turkey gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Ibeabuchi points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Turkey wakes up just in time to hear Ibeabuchi thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
