The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jung Ho throws a good cross that connects.
Butcher shoots in but no luck this time.
Butcher shoots for a double leg takedown but Jung Ho sprawls well. He's pushed Butcher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jung Ho cracks Butcher with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Stan Butcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Jung Ho counters with a huge left! Butcher is in big trouble! He's backing up but Jung Ho isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Butcher from any more damage. A dominating finish by Jung Ho!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steinkamp staying out of range there.
Massi throws a looping overhand right but Steinkamp ducks down to avoid it.
Steinkamp half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Massi scores with a jab.
Steinkamp tries to clinch but Massi moves out of range.
Steinkamp shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Massi pinned against the cage. Massi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Steinkamp walks into a left hand.
Massi looks to land a right hand but Steinkamp moved out of range.

Massi gets caught napping as Steinkamp dives in and scores a takedown. Massi manages to retain guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Steinkamp accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Steinkamp keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Massi's head.
Steinkamp passes Massi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Steinkamp takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Massi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steinkamp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Steinkamp working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Steinkamp thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Massi's head.

Massi dips to his left and cracks Steinkamp with an uppercut!

so Steinkamp counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Steinkamp postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steinkamp is looking to pass into half guard but Massi pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Massi is in guard.

Steinkamp is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Steinkamp is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Steinkamp is on top in guard.

Steinkamp gets to his feet - Massi follows without any prompting.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Steinkamp moves in looking to clinch but Massi pushes him off.
Massi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A slow jab from Massi misses its intended target.

Steinkamp has closed the distance and engaged Massi in a clinch.
Steinkamp fails to pull guard.

Steinkamp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Steinkamp tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Massi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Massi sizes up Steinkamp with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Steinkamp wants to clinch.
Steinkamp on the wrong end of a nice hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Benito Massi will probably get the nod.

and Massi counters with a crisp one two that drops Steinkamp! Massi thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Steinkamp to his feet! Steinkamp is in big trouble!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Steinkamp glances at the clock... BAM! Massi nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Steinkamp crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Steinkamp is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Benito Massi!
