The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man has closed the distance and engaged Pierre in a clinch.
Pierre could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Man throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Pierres head.
Pierre tries a body shot but Man blocks it.
Pierre jumps guard but Man stands there with Pierre around his waist. Pierre gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pierre tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Man smiles and moves away.
Man avoids the body shot from Pierre.

Man has managed to clinch.
Pierre doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Man blocks an uppercut.
Man is pressed up against the cage. Pierre has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Man down to the mat. Man avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Jacobs shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Gooding to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Randy Jacobs has been cut.
Jacobs shoots in looking for a takedown but Gooding manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jacobs's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gooding throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jacobs on the side of the head.

and Gooding counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Knuckles ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Henderson moves away.
Knuckles's jab looks to have found its range, popping Henderson under the eye.
Henderson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Sands Jr.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

In his post fight interview, Drake Fury started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
