The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inarritu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hendrix manages to avoid it.
Hendrix wants to counter with a clinch but Inarritu pushes him away.
Hendrix shoots in for a takedown but Inarritu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hendrix throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Valashnikov tries to close the distance and clinch but Jaryoki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Valashnikov turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Jaryoki off and cradles Valashnikov's limp body as Jaryoki celebrates with his corner.

Twist must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Oh but Mirr is tightening it up a little... Twist has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Twist reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Twist taps out! Nice BJJ there by Mirr!
