The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiharu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mulholland's head backwards.
Chiharu throws out a loose jab but Mulholland uses good head movement to avoid it.
As Chiharu backs away, Mulholland returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Mulholland pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Chiharu back to the cage. Mulholland follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Chiharu has closed the distance and engaged Mulholland in a clinch.
Chiharu scores with a nice hook to the head.
Chiharu throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mulhollands head.
Mulholland drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chiharu pulls his leg out and moves away.
Shiba Chiharu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
