The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacDowell throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. BELFORT was covering up waiting for the punch and MacDowell finishes the takedown easily into guard.
MacDowell won't allow BELFORT to sweep him here.
MacDowell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as BELFORT works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
MacDowell postures up and lands a big shot to BELFORT's brow.
BELFORT preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
MacDowell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed BELFORT's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

MacDowell wants to advance to full mount but BELFORT doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
