The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasza shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beaudry as he avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kasza is defended easily by Beaudry.
And Beaudry tries to counter it with a takedown but Kasza pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Beaudry dives in and grabs Kasza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kasza pushes down on Beaudry's head and hops out.
Kasza appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Kasza has been working on his balance at Island Safe Space, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Beaudry.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Butabi seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

That was a close round but Giorgio Armani did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.
